1 - Launch Show

Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman host the launch of the 20th series, joined by judges Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke, Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse as they welcome 15 new celebrities to the Strictly ballroom. Featuring a guest appearance by John Legend, and last year's champions Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice reprising their winning routine

2 - Week 1

Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman host the first live show of the series. Judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Shirley Ballas assess the routines of the 15 couples, with the scores they award tonight being carried over to next week when viewers will have their chance to vote. Plus, a special group routine from the professional dancers

3 - Week 2

Our 15 new couples return to the Strictly ballroom. They’ve broken in their dancing shoes and are now performing live to keep their place in the competition. This week, not only do they have to impress the judges but also the viewers at home, as for the first time this series, the public vote will open.

4 - Week 2 Results

Two couples face the first dance-off of the series. Entertaining us all in the ballroom is the legendary Robbie Williams.

5 - Week 3 Movie Week

It's time to roll out the red carpet as Strictly Come Dancing takes you to the movies. Our remaining couples' routines take their inspiration from the silver screen.

17 - Week 9 Blackpool

After a two-year absence, Strictly Come Dancing returns to the iconic Blackpool Tower Ballroom.

18 - Week 9 Results

Two more couples face a dance-off, and Sam Ryder performs in the ballroom. At this stage of the competition, no-one wants to go home. Who will the judges save for another week?

19 - Week 10

The couples have to do more than ever to secure their places in next week's Musicals Special quarter-final.

Two more couples face a dance-off, and special guests Tom Grennan and Joel Corry perform in the ballroom.

21 - Week 11 Musicals

The show makes a rare second appearance this week as the quarter-final is moved forward a day thanks to World Cup coverage. This musicals-themed edition opens with a dance extravaganza performed by the professional dancers alongside West End legends Marisha Wallace, Ivano Turco and Trevor Dion Nicholas. Fleur, Hamza, Helen, Kym, Molly and Will then take to the ballroom floor with routines inspired by the world of musical theatre. Everyone wants to secure their place in next week's semi-final, so showstopping performances and a stellar night of dance are to be expected.

22 - Week 11 Results

Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman present as the two lowest-scoring couples compete in the dance-off, with a place in the semi-final up for grabs. There's also a performance from the cast of The Cher Show and a Guys and Dolls routine from the professionals

23 - Week 12 Semi-Final

Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman present the semi-final of the pro-celebrity contest, for which Fleur, Hamza, Helen, Molly and Will must master two brand new routines to win the approval of judges and viewers alike and secure a place in next week's grand final

24 - Week 12 Results

Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman announce the results of the judges' scores and viewers' votes, with the two couples with the lowest combined scores taking part in a dance-off to decide who will be next to leave the contest and who will win the last place in next week's final. Craig Revel Horwood joins the professionals for a special routine, and there is music from Lewis Capaldi

25 - The Final

The final 4, Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman introduce the climax of this year's series.

26 - Christmas Special

Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman present the annual special, which sees singer Nicola Roberts, DJ Rickie Haywood-Williams, podcaster Rosie Ramsey, actor Larry Lamb, CBBC presenter George Webster and former Corrie star Alexandra Mardell perform festive routines in the hope of lifting the coveted Strictly Christmas trophy. There's also a special performance from a ghost of Strictly past - Bruno Tonioli. Is Anton's judging seat safe?
