1 - Leave Them Laughing

In this episode, young wannabe comedian Jamie Custer gets his first crack at fame when he performs at the school dance. While his routine wins him new fans, his sister Roxie is not one of them. Her love life is the subject of Jamie's jokes, which expose her two-timing antics for all to see.

Jamie and Dallas decide to raise money for a demo tape of Jamie's material, but Jamie does all the work and when he finally gets to record it, he's had no time to prepare.

Jamie thinks that to make it in the cutthroat world of entertainment, it is necessary to suffer some hardship. Accordingly, he sets out to get bullied at school.
4 - Here We Go

5 - Playing Grown-Ups

Jamie and Dallas con their way into 'The Last Laugh' comedy club, where Jamie performs a set. His debut turns into a triumph, but can he convince the owner, Pete Maguire, to start a kids' night?
6 - Send in the Clowns

Jamie lands his first paying gig at a children's birthday party. Dallas holds auditions for new acts at the Junior Last Laugh comedy club. At the club, Jamie and Dymphna O'Grady take part in the Battle of the Motor Mouths.
7 - Ba, Ba, Black Sheep
Air Date: January 3, 2001
Mary Custer's long-lost brother Douglas returns and takes a shine to Jamie and his comic talents.
8 - Play It Again, Gem
Air Date: January 10, 2001
Jamie and Dallas meet old timer Gem Diamond, a well-known comic from a bygone era. Gem is trying to rebuild his career and Dallas and Jamie decide to help - if Gem will tell them the golden rule of comedy.
9 - Enter the Goldfish
Air Date: January 17, 2001
Jamie hears an inspiring speech by his comic hero and decides to give up comedy to save the world. Unfortunately, his campaign for animal rights is a complete failure. Returning to what he knows best, Jamie saves the day for both Dallas and Pete Maguire, owner of the Last Laugh comedy club.
10 - Secret Agent

Things go awry between Jamie and Dallas - Jamie tries to find a new manager, while Dallas looks for new acts. But trouble is looming.
11 - The Visit
Air Date: January 31, 2001
Pete - the owner of the Last Laugh Comedy Club - is desperate for his mother's approval, and asks Jamie to perform for her. Unfortunately, he loses his voice just before the gig - but the show must go on.
12 - Jamie's Last Laugh

After he dies a death on stage, Jamie's dreams of stardom are crushed. Can he recover and get himself back into the groove?
