1 - A Simple Walk Into Mordor

To celebrate the release of The Hobbit this month, two super nerds will do in six days what took Frodo and Sam three movies to complete. They will walk the 120+ mile journey across New Zealand from the filming location of Hobbiton in Matamata to the filming location of Mount Doom, Mount Ngauruhoe. They will sleep on the ground, cross rivers, and of course, eat Lembas Bread. Documenting the entire journey on video, the two Lord of the Ring fans will prove that one does simply walk into Mordor.
2 - Rivendell to Moria!
Air Date: December 15, 2012
In day two and three of their journey, the physical pain and exhaustion hit the hobbits hard. And when they become lost in a forest, they must find their way out before nightfall when the temperature drops to freezing.
3 - Blisters & Balrogs!
Air Date: December 19, 2012
On the third part of their journey, the hobbits suffer through ever worsening blisters, dodge cars, and take on a 70km stretch of highway.
4 - Mount Doom
Air Date: December 22, 2012
In the final episode of A Simple Walk Into Mordor, our hobbits attempt to take a shortcut through private property as they make their way to Mount Doom.
5 - The Ring is Found!

After "destroying" the ring on top of Mount Doom, it wasn't long before it resurfaced!
