While celebrating the solving of another murder, Imaizumi realizes he doesn't quite agree with his boss's reasoning. Drunkenly he calls Furuhata.

3 - Shintaro Deduces

Shintaro announces that he has better deductive skills than Furuhata so Kuwabara challenges him to find out who ate the contents of his bento box.

4 - Shintaro's Rival

Shintaro's rival Haga visits the laboratory and the two argue over which one Furuhata likes better.

5 - Shintaro Has a Close Call

Kuwabara shows Imaizumi some unusual murder weapons including a poisonous spider which accidentally becomes loose in the lab.

6 - Shintaro Pulls a Prank

Kuwabara teaches Imaizumi a trick to help him always win at quizzes. Imaizumi immediately phones Furuhata to try to catch him out but Furuhata isn't easy to trick.

7 - Shintaro Must Not Lose

While Imaizumi is gluing together his Buddha statue which his boss dropped, Mukojima comes to the lab to ask how to get Furuhata to remember his name.

8 - Shintaro vs. Magic

Imaizumi does not understand a trick used by a recent murderer so Kuwabara endeavours to explain it to him.

9 - Shintaro in a Box

Imaizumi hides in a cardboard box to surprise Furuhata but Kuwabara has surprises of his own to spring on the unsuspecting goofball.

10 - Shintaro Strikes Back

Imaizumi returns from New York and is thrilled to show his friend Kuwabara all the new things he's learned. But what's hiding in the large cardboard box delivered to the lab?

11 - Shintaro's Farewell

Imaizumi is despondent because he thinks Furuhata does not treat him as a human being. Kuwabara and Haga try to raise his spirit through the medium of song.

12 - Mysterious Case in the Sky

After they leave Furuhata looking for his passport in a South American country, Imaizumi and Saionji try to watch a movie on a plane in Spanish. The trouble is, neither of them understands the language.
