The Pajama Game is a musical based on the 1953 novel 7½ Cents by Richard Bissell. The story is set in the Sleep-Tite Pajama Factory in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where workers are demanding a 7.5 cents an hour raise. The factory superintendent, Sid Sorokin, falls in love with the head of the union grievance committee, Babe Williams, but their romance is threatened by the ongoing labor dispute.
3 - Newsies

New York City, 1899. Jack Kelly and his ragtag team of newsboys make a meager living selling newspapers on the city streets. But when the prices of “papes” are hiked and the newsies are hung out to dry, there is nothing left to do but “open the gates and seize the day!”
