In the first hours, a doctor and his nurses become unexpected heroes as they work tirelessly to rescue those trapped beneath the General Hospital, a journalist reports on the disaster as she traverses the city, and a family attempts to reunite amidst the rubble.

Twenty-four hours have passed since Dr. Ángel was trapped under the rubble, and no one knows anything about him. Rescue efforts remain paralyzed by the government.
