2 - Chicken Little

Auditions for the Top 50 home cooks reach a dramatic conclusion as the final aprons are handed out. The cooks enter their first challenge, a Stress Test, where they must prepare a stunning chicken dish with very limited access to equipment. After a dramatic round of tasting, the judges choose the final group of home cooks moving forward to the MasterChef Canada kitchen.

The first Mystery Box Challenge gives the winner an advantage in the Elimination Challenge.
4 - The Puck Drops Here

The teams prepare lunch for the Toronto Maple Leafs; a contestant is sent home after a challenging pasta dish.
5 - Where's the Beef?

A mystery box challenge with Canadian ingredients and beer.
6 - Edible Art
Air Date: February 24, 2014
The cooks must cater an exclusive art gallery event, and the losers bake to save their lives.
7 - Brains before Beauty
Air Date: March 3, 2014
A Mystery Box Challenge takes the contestants back to their roots; an Alberta Beef challenge.
8 - Major Steaks
Air Date: March 10, 2014
The top 10 cooks face off at Canadian Forces Base Trenton and the losing team goes to war.
9 - Great Canadian Bake Off
Air Date: March 17, 2014
The contestants get creative with leftovers; upscale versions of common bake sale items.
10 - Meals on Wheels
Air Date: March 24, 2014
The cooks compete in a team challenge at Toronto City Hall and the losers face a challenging Pressure Test.
11 - Claws Out
Air Date: March 31, 2014
The remaining cooks duel with a tank of lobsters in a tag-team challenge with the winner receiving two advantages.
12 - Line of Fire
Air Date: April 7, 2014
The cooks take over one of the judges' restaurants and the losers face a pressure test.
13 - Family Style
Air Date: April 14, 2014
The cooks prepare a family reunion dinner and in the pressure test, they face the most difficult challenge yet.
14 - Not-Your-Average-Joe
Air Date: April 21, 2014
The cooks use judge Joe Bastianich's favourite ingredient in the hopes of moving on to the finale.
15 - And Then There Were Two
Air Date: April 28, 2014
The final two compete in a three-course battle for the grand prize and the title of MasterChef.
