The top 16 cooks face off in a team challenge, which involves cooking lunch for first responders; two cooks from the losing team get eliminated.
3 - True Patriot Love

In the first team challenge, the cooks prepare a meal for 105 new Canadians.
4 - The Blind Leading the Blind
Air Date: March 23, 2017
The top 10 cooks are blindfolded while working in pairs in honour of Canada's upcoming 150th birthday.
5 - Burgers For Bikers
Air Date: March 30, 2017
The remaining home cooks are divided into three teams and are challenged to create gourmet burgers and fries for hungry motorcyclists.
6 - Jamie in the House
Air Date: April 6, 2017
Chef Jamie Oliver challenges the cooks to create an appetizer for his new chain of Canadian restaurants.
7 - Egg Showdown!
Air Date: April 13, 2017
The Top 7 compete in an egg battle – working their way through a series of challenges that get progressively more difficult.
8 - Auberge Anniversary
Air Date: April 27, 2017
Two teams face off in a special restaurant takeover to celebrate the 30th anniversary of judge Michael Bonacini's iconic Auberge du Pommier, an Oliver & Bonacini restaurant.
9 - Take Five
Air Date: May 4, 2017
The Top 5 emulate the judges favourite cooking techniques while creating unique salmon dishes.
10 - Harvest Family Dinner
Air Date: May 11, 2017
The final four cooks split into teams to create elegant family dinners for their loved ones; the members of the losing team face a dessert test.
11 - Sweet Francaise
Air Date: May 25, 2017
The final elimination challenge will determine who makes it to the finale, as the home cooks create a dish using one luxury ingredient.
12 - Finale
Air Date: June 1, 2017
The final two cooks face off in a three course battle in the hope of becoming the next "Masterchef Canada"
