The police are notified that a cyclist has been assaulted. Seeing a young man force a woman into his car, he had tried to intervene and was shot. Anne is accused of murder, but the whole team know only too well that it's really a scheme engineered by Gimenez.

Julie Astié informs the police of her brother's disappearance. Apparently he had a date with his new girlfriend but fell into a trap. Meanwhile, the police try to untangle a case of attempted murder amongst firemen. As for Franklin, he's doing all he can to get Anne out of prison...

As Anne finds her imprisonment increasingly hard to bear, Vincent, her replacement, arouses suspicion and questions. Blanche and Lulu investigate a case of assault. Two thugs had stolen the bag belonging to a woman in her sixties, but she chased after them, knocked over their scooter and recovered her property...

Anne is waiting to be released. Sylvie Fabre, who has only recently passed her lieutenant's exam, is assaulted as she returns home. The attacker has stolen her police firearm and identity card. A suspect is arrested, but Blanch is unconvinced that he is really the guilty party...

After the shoot-out that cost Gimenez his life, Franklin is relieved of his command and replaced by Blanche. An appointment that exacerbates the tensions within the team. A shooting takes place in a car park. The only witness suffers from Down's syndrome and is hyper-emotional.
