Vinnie gets offered a place on a rival show, and is forced to leave the Quickfire team, but things quickly go sour on the new show.
3 - Blue Peter

One of the lighting crew dies, and there are arguments about how to mark his passing. Bob is asked to give an oration at the funeral, and shows that he has a sensitive side after all.
4 - Edge of Darkness

Bob is feeling stressed, and guest Darren Day helps him deal with it. Meanwhile, the other guest, Eric Richard is very unwell, and there is a frantic rush to replace him at the last minute.
5 - This Life

Bob decides to dispense with his ghostwriter and write his memoirs himself, but finds that his memories and anecdotes don't match others' recollections.
6 - Weekend World

An otherwise unpromising weekend holds a surprise for Bob when his ex, Lesley, drops by for a visit. Meanwhile, Vinnie and Beverley spend the weekend together.
