LONG and PAUL wait at the hospital for MO - the only witness able to prove that KWONG was the murderer, to wake up. However, the doctor announces his death. SHING goes out with KWONG and HO for a celebration after hearing the news. KIM fools them and wires them up to record their conversation. KIM hands his boss the tape and SHING’s post is temporarily relieved. PAUL interrogates another witness to WAH’s case, Dr. Chan. Dr. Chan tells him that SHING has paid him to testify against WAH. He also remembers that when KWONG brought some herbal tea for KWUN, he spilled some ink and left his finger prints on the prescription. However, the prescription has been taken to Shenzhen, so LONG crosses the border to look for the evidence.
